The dog ate my spare time.

Hello dear reader!

My apologies for my absence this past week and a half but I'm blaming it on him:

He's a 12 lb. Aussie shepherd fuzzy ball of spazz and he's the newest addition to the zoo that is our home. His name is 'Cutter' and he's a smart little thing as he demonstrated his ability to grasp the concept of 'sit' very quickly and also figured out exactly where the dog cookies are kept (although I think Rosebud gave him a hint).

I've still been working on art, albeit much slower than I was, and am hoping that an art post is possible this Friday or Saturday (hmmmm, I seem to recall saying that before).

What I can say with certainty is that there won't be a post before Friday as the Other Half and I are celebrating Christmas on Wednesday with my family since my parents and Grandmother are off to Arizona on Friday for the Winter. Really, they couldn't have picked a better time to go either since the weather is going to go from crappy to really crappy this week.

We're having the festivities here which means tomorrow I'll be spending the day cleaning and scouring the house for any little "Christmas presents" that Cutter may decide to leave behind for family members to step in. This would include pieces of bark (that resemble little puppy doodles) that he pulls out of the wood-box.

So, with that in mind, if you'll excuse me the little devil is waking up from a nap and that means it's time to pee... for him, not me.

I'll be back later this week!

He's adorable! Aussie shepherds are SMART dogs. Hide you car keys!

Thanks Jennifer! Puppy knows he's cute too... must be why the Other Half lets him get away with so much. ;)

Tell me about it Lisa. Rosebud in an Aussie as well and while she never had much of an interest in car keys this little guy gertainly does!

awwww, he is so very cute! And he looks like he will keep you on your toes!
I love the aceos - especially the pears - they are all gorgeous though. I don't know how you get so much in that small size!

Thanks Ann!

He's definitely keeping us on our toes and nap time is about the only time I'm getting to work on the ACEO's. ;)
