Not a huge post today, I need to drive into Kingston to pick up some mat boards since I just recently got the tools to start cutting my own matting. This endeavour may save me quite a bit of money, provided I don't slice off a finger or two (those blades are sharp!)

Dismemberments aside, I'm also in the midst of getting ready for the Home for the Holidays show I have on Sunday at the Empire Theatre in Belleville. I did the same show last year and I have to say that for only being a few years old the organizers do a bang up job every time. They've got a wide variety of vendors and the funds from the event are for a great cause, which is the Hastings County Adopt-A-Child program. In another two weeks myself and three other local artists will be putting on a Holiday show at the Tyendinaga Twp. Library to help raise money for their 'Art for Literacy' program so if you happen to be in the neighbourhood for either of these events please stop by and say 'Hi'...oh, and feel free to purchase some art while you're at it! ;)

Make sure you have lots of band-aids around or in a pinch some glue in case you do cut yourself *knocks on wood*

Good luck at the show!!

LOL Jennifer! It's funny you mentioned glue because once I grabbed Super-glue instead of that paint on band-aid stuff and oddly enough it worked really well!

We use to use glue at the dog groomers if we cut ourselves with the scissors or the rare times we were bit by a dog. Band-aids would always fall off in the bath.
