The Last Show... I mean it.

Howdy, dear reader!

So I've started working on some van Gogh and Vermeer ACEO's and all I can say is: Woah. Harder than I thought it would be.

Not that I'm pompous enought to think that I'd be whipping off ACEO studies of Masters works but let's just say I'm encountering more *ahem* "learning opportunities" than I had expected. I'll be doing another post on said learning opportunities later but for now I wanted to bring something else to your attention.

Monday December 8th from 1-3 pm I'll be participating in a 'Christmas Tea' over at the Deseronto Public Library. This is an extension of the 'Art For Literacy' program that we're hoping to get started in Deseronto since we've had success with the Lilac Tea over at the Tyendinaga Twp. Public Library. So, if you're in the area and want to get in the Holiday spirit, see some great art (and buy some to boot) and support the 'Art For Literacy' program just stop by and see what's happening.

Back later this week with my ACEO studies!

Rita, your cherries are AMAZING!!!
I went nuts looking for my cp's this past week. Finally found the box had drifted to the back of bottom drawer. *sigh*
Are you still selling on ebay? The link on your site doesn't work.

Thanks Regina! :D

Aww, you have to break out the ol' cp's again. What better way to spend an afternoon (or whole day) than by playing with pencils?

Yes, I am still selling my ACEO's on eBay, just search by my user id which is "gnome_tree". Thanks for letting me know the link isn't working too, I'll look into that.

These latest cherries are truly luscious. Vermeer would be pleased. So would Caravaggio. I'm just really impressed. :)

Wow! Thanks Lisa!

Hmmm, maybe I should add Caravaggio to my list of artists to study... ;)
