An online home for me to share my art and some of the general nonsense that enters my head. I'll be sharing my creative processes, experiences and the chaos that may or may not ensue...

The Second Last Show...Really!
Welcome back, dear reader!
Today's post is going to be short. I've committed to doing another show on Dec. 8th at the Deseronto Public Library as an extension/ expansion of the 'Art For Literacy' program and I have another show, Home for the Holidays, at the Empire Theatre in Belleville this coming Sunday that I have to get ready for.
I want to thank everyone that came out this past week-end to the Melrose Show not just for stopping by to say 'Hi' but also for supporting the library. The raffle items did very well and lots of money was raised so it was a great success.
I don't want to promise anything but I'm hoping that on Friday or Saturday I'll be able to do another post relating to my van Gogh/ Vermeer project and the joys of living with a pack rat.
With that in mind I should return to working on my art and getting ready for the show this Sunday. Here's to hoping I can get myself organized and another post lined up for later this week so until that happens, keep on art-ing! :D

Wow Rita, these cherries actually made my mouth water! The big cats are just stunning, and the still lifes you've been doing remind me of the old Dutch masters paintings that I dearly love. It's amazing what some people can do with a pencil!
Thanks Lisa! :D
Yup, cp's are pretty versatile. I'm finding that the more I experiment with subject matter the more I experiment with the pencils as well. It can only lead to one of two things: a great piece of art or a mucky mess... I'm aiming for the former. ;)
I hope your show went well! Also, I want to eat that second ACEO.
Hi Meg!
Yup, the show was pretty good. As far as eating the ACEO goes... um, I dunno about the taste but if you're lacking fibre in your diet it may be a good option. ;-)
